If you’re in the MD/NoVA/DC area, and want to pick up the confections, we may be able to make other local “shipping” arrangements; if you’d like us to ship our chocolates to other locales within the U.S., we only do so Monday through Wednesday via Priority Mail, in order to ensure our product doesn’t spend time in the post office over the weekend.
OUR MOST RECENT BIG EVENTS! This one is on paper–Bethesda Magazine devoted a full page to learning more about our company in their Sep/Oct 2016 edition! Can’t wait to have more locals try our whimsical, gourmet fudge!
On Sunday, September 11, 2016 we were at the Carnival of Chocolates in Rockville (MD) Town Square–specifically in the library! The event raised funds for The Dwelling Place.
On April 21, our head chocolatier, Jill, was a guest chocolatier at Chocolate Inspiration 2016 at the Italian Embassy, where she provided three Italian-inspired flavors for the crowd: balsamic cinnamon, tomato basil, and hazelnut. This private event for the Center for Inspired Teaching was a gala celebrating education changemakers.
In early February, we spent the weekend providing samples and selling our chocolate fudge at Fairfax’ Chocolate Lovers’ Festival! For more information, click here: Chocolate Lovers’ Festival
In January, we participated in Future Harvest Casa’s Local Fare Fair at the College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, and at the McLean (VA) Chocolate Festival!
We were back in the Washington DC Convention Center for MetroCooking DC , October 24, 2015, where our head chocolatier, Jill, gave a “Taste Talk” entitled “Expanding your Chocolate Palate.” Jill discussed the basics of chocolate, the difference between chocolate and fudge, the varieties of fudge, and how to consider ingredients one might never think of putting in chocolate! She also distributed seven different flavors to the audience, in order, noting why she selected certain ingredients along the way. Many of the flavors were from our Halloween-in-a-box! Food Network and other stars who participated in MetroCooking DC 2015 included Giada DiLaurentiis, Iron Chef Michael Symon, Bryan Voltaggio, Christina Tosi and David Guas!
In February 2015, we sampled and sold our artisanal small batch fudge at The Chocolate Lovers’ Festival in Fairfax, VA.
MetroCooking DC’s Grand Tasting Pavilion on November 9th, 2014 at the Washington DC Convention Center! The Chocolatier’s Palette was invited to provide “exclusive hand-picked bites” as one of “Washington’s hottest restaurants!” (even though we’re not one!) What an honor!
The Chocolatier’s Palette also was thrilled to participate in “summer’s ultimate indoor/outdoor food festival”–the Appetite Festival–at Strathmore, on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, where celebrity chefs, trending food truck chefs and others (like us!) sampled and sold our products! In addition to sampling and selling, our Head Chocolatier, Jill, gave a “Talk and Taste” presentation at the Festival with Swing’s Coffee. Click here for more information.
